Our contribution to a cleaner environment

The mass of 85 Eiffel Towers! – That is the equivalent weight of the dust that we filtrate yearly!

How much do we contribute to a cleaner environment and a better future? Based of our documented filter units from 1995 up till today, we decided to make a calculation/estimation.

AIR FILTRATION
Our filter so far, filtrate and clean the air by a total of 10 119 000 m3/hour. This means 17 202 172 500 m3/h on a yearly basis.

In perspective..

The volume of the air we clean per hour, is the same amount as 28,1 million people breathe during an hour or what 40 people breathe during their whole lifetime (approximately 80 years)*

or…

Globen

During one year, we handle 28 450 times the volume of Globen (the largest spherical building in the world). Or if you like, 7 170 times the volume of Cheops Pyramid.

*We inhale 12 times a minute or 20 000 times round the clock. A normal breath contains approximately 500 ml air  (Nationalencyklopedin)

DUST HANDLING
Our filter units filtrate about 30-50 grams of dust per cubic meter. This means that 506 000 kilos of dust per hour are being stopped from polluting our environment. On a yearly basis we filtrate 860 000 000 kilos of dust.

More perspective..

The combined weight of the dust, which contains heavy metals, stone, minerals and chemical products, is equivalent to 85 times the weight of the Eiffel Tower (per year)**

Besides the documented and supervised filter units, we have delivered PLC-operated processes and other equipment such as cyclones, chemical filters etc. These units contributes to additional 15 000 000 000 m3/h clean air per year.
